We are a friendly and enthusiastic group of around 95 members
of all ages from 18 to 80+.

We meet at Wesley Hall, Feilden Street
in the centre of Blackburn
(opposite the Waves car park.)

We rehearse from 7:00 to 9:30 pm on a Thursday evening.
There are also extra monthly practices on the first Wednesday of the month.

Under the enthusiastic direction of our leader, Mr Jeff Borradaile,
we sing a range of songs in different traditions
including : gospel , popular and religious.

It is not necessary to know how to read music
(although it is very useful) and we have no auditions.
We sing A Capella (with no accompanient)
and enjoy performing whenever we can.

In 2007 we have sung in many different places including:

Amnesty International Stall in Blackburn Market.
Concert for Hands around the World in Chorley.
Set All Free - service in Blackburn Cathedral
for 200th anniversary of end of slavery.
Concert for Mary's Meals Charity in Blackburn.
Clitheroe Festival.
Manchester Prison.
HMP Lancaster Castle.
Busking during the festival in Edinburgh.
National Street Choirs Festival in Manchester.
Action Factory "Feast Day" in Blackburn.
