On a rainy Sunday afternoon on 18 June the choir gave a short performance on a stage in Witton Park , Blackburn to support East Lancs Hospice as part of their Celebration of Life concert. We also enjoyed listening to the other performers including a steel band , children reading their own poems , a rock band and the Hospice choir. The end of the concert was marked by a mass release of balloons in memory of departed loved ones.
