On 9th to 11th February about 70 choir members and friends had their annual weekend away at Scargill House in Kettlewell. There was the usual good hospitality from the Scargill residents and a grand time was had by all. The workshops were hard work but three new songs were learned and performed at the evening concert on Saturday in the chapel. Thanks to Lynn and Alicia for organising a treasure hunt with chocolate coins and a quiz about the shipping forecast areas. Every one also enjoyed the social side (especially the wine) and the song about the quartermaster’s stores went on for a long time !!
